History of Turret Tormentor

Overview

Turret Tormentor is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to defeat opponents in Control or destroy Honored Scorpius Turrets in Fortress. Progress is tracked through a single counter for "Opponents defeated or Turrets destroyed," requiring a total of 120 actions to complete.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, players must engage in either of the following activities until the counter reaches 120:

• Play matches of Control and defeat enemy opponents.
• Play the Fortress activity and destroy Honored Scorpius Turrets.

The objectives are interchangeable; destroying turrets in Fortress contributes to the same counter as defeating opponents in Control.

Practical approach

This objective belongs to the Iron Banner event. Use the active Iron Banner Control variant for opponent defeats, or Fortress when that variant is running. In Fortress, watch for the central high-value zone: Cabal turrets arrive to guard it. Destroy the Honored Scorpius turrets from cover, then help capture the cleared zone.

Progress carries across matches until the shared counter reaches 120. These are alternative paths; there is no requirement to complete 120 of each. Lord Saladin's event rewards and reputation are separate from this objective.
