Overview

'''Tying It All Together''' is a nine-step New Light quest from Ada-1 in the Tower, from Season 14 (Season of the Splicer). It requires Armor Synthesis Introduction and teaches Armor Synthesis (transmog) and the Loom. It is mostly a grind and can take several hours.

Walkthrough

1. Speak with Ada-1 to receive starter Synthweave (a class-specific Plate, Strap or Bolt).
2. Create an ornament from any Legendary armor piece in Appearance Customization.
3. Return to Ada-1.
4. Purchase any Armor Synthesis bounty from Ada-1.
5. Complete a bounty and claim its reward.
6. Use the Loom to convert Synthcord into Synthweave.
7. Report to Ada-1 in the Tower Armory.
8. Acquire 10,000 Glimmer to buy another bounty. (Shacknews instead describes gathering Synthstrand by defeating enemies.)
9. Return to Ada-1 to continue manufacturing Synthweave.
