Umbral Hacker

Overview

The Umbral Hacker triumph requires the player to focus Umbral Engrams using Season of the Splicer Tier III Lenses. Completing this objective awards the Umbral Hacker triumph.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must utilize a Season of the Splicer Tier III Lens to focus an Umbral Engram. This process converts the engram into a specific piece of gear, contributing to the triumph's progress. The player must repeat this action until the requirement is met.

Original practical route

Complete Decrypting the Darkness to unlock the Prismatic Recaster and Umbral Decoder in the H.E.L.M.. Unlock the required Prismatic Lens by completing and claiming its Season of the Splicer lens triumph. Gather Umbral Engrams and Decrypted Data from seasonal progression and Override rewards.

At the Prismatic Recaster, select a Tier III Season of the Splicer lens and spend the required Umbral Engram and Decrypted Data. Tier I and Tier II focusing do not meet this triumph’s condition. Tier III stat-focused armour lenses were part of this original selection.

Category and availability

This belongs to Season of the Splicer → Splicer Mastery → Quests. Its original three score tiers totalled 25 Triumph Score. The original seasonal focusing route was removed with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen on 22 February 2022; modern seasonal engram focusing does not reproduce these Splicer lens requirements.
