Unanswered Questions

Overview

Unanswered Questions is the lore entry in Entities of Sol, introduced with Destiny 2: Lightfall. It introduces the mysterious Hive gods—Savathûn, the Witch Queen, Xivu Arath, God of War and Oryx, the Taken King—and The Nine, whose agent Xûr sells unusual goods across the system.

How to complete

Reach Guardian Ranks 9 for the first time. Complete the rank’s objectives, claim the rank advancement, and open the lore menu to read Entities of Sol. The book’s unlock awards this entry; it does not require finding a hidden world collectible or repeatedly defeating one of the beings it describes.

The entry presents the state of those mysteries at Destiny 2: Lightfall’s release. Its discussion of Savathûn’s uncertain fate belongs to that point in the story. The reward is the lore entry, rather than a weapon or armour item.
