Undergrowth

Undergrowth is an area of the Black Garden on Mars: a trenchwork of Vex fortifications and overgrown plant life. It connects to Embrace and Boundless Horizon, and its enemies are the Vex and the Sol Divisive faction.

It is first met in the Garden of Salvation raid, in Shadowkeep. Fireteams defend the Vex Relays from Vex assaults, then draw out the Consecrated Mind to neutralize it, which lets them follow the signal from the Unknown Artifact further. Later, the Guardian returns to Undergrowth while tracking the Conceptual Mind. There they meet Taken sent by The Witness, who aim to destroy the Mind before its data about the Black Heart and The Veil can be collected.
