Upgrades of Contagion

Overview

Upgrades of Contagion is a Triumph with a value of 20. Completing the associated objectives unlocks additional crafting options for the Outbreak Perfected Exotic Pulse Rifle. The triumph requires the player to complete the Exotic mission Zero Hour in Pinnacle Ops on Master difficulty or higher.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must complete the Zero Hour mission under the following conditions:

• The mission must be played in Pinnacle Ops mode.
• The difficulty must be set to Master or higher.

The triumph tracks these three crafting traits:

• Rapid Hit
• Rewind Rounds
• Headseeker

Current Pinnacle Ops route

Launch Zero Hour from Pinnacle Ops and select Master or higher. Complete the mission repeatedly to unlock all three crafting traits: Rapid Hit, Rewind Rounds and Headseeker. Each qualifying clear can unlock another trait, so a single completion need not finish the whole triumph.

Prepare for the traversal route, use the alcoves to evade TR3-VR while activating the maze switches, and clear the final arena containing Siriks, Loyal to Eramis and its reinforcements. A fireteam can split maze switches and assist with enemy clearing.

The original 2024 route used Ada-1's Outbreak Refined switch quests and Legend completions. The current Master-or-higher Pinnacle Ops completion route replaces that prerequisite chain. Once unlocked, apply the traits when crafting or reshaping Outbreak Perfected at the Relic on Mars. Claim 20 triumph points after all three are credited.
