V. Eternal life

Overview

V. Eternal life is the fifth chapter of The Immanent, introduced in The Edge of Fate. Maya Sundaresh explores and remakes herself through the Vex Network, extending her reach toward the Oort Cloud.

How to complete

Enter The Desert Perpetual with a raid fireteam. After defeating each selectable boss, explore the return traversal and solve its secret-chest puzzle. Inspect the rotating orb's symbols and approach the matching glyphs around the route; correct glyphs remain illuminated. Activate the required four and loot the chest inside the orb. Continue collecting the book entries through these puzzles to reach this fifth chapter.

Reward

The unlock adds this chapter to The Immanent. This lore entry does not award a separate weapon or armor piece. The chapter can also be read in the lore archive.
