V - Wick Burnt Black

Overview

V - Wick Burnt Black is the fifth entry of the Ripples lore book, introduced in Season of the Lost. It is a lore unlock rather than a combat challenge. Commander Zavala and Ikora Rey discuss Saint-14's distress over Osiris, as well as the difficulty of supporting their friends through loss.

Original acquisition

Progress Wayfinder's Voyage, then use the radio beside the Wayfinder's Compass in the Awoken wing of the H.E.L.M.. Listen to the unlocked transmission and claim Points of Connection progress to receive the lore entry. The radio is separate from the compass vendor interaction.

The original Season of the Lost narrative route was retired on 22 February 2022 and is no longer obtainable through that seasonal quest or radio. The entry remains available to read in the lore archive.

Reward

The unlock adds this chapter to Ripples. It has no separate equipment reward.

Reading the retired book

Ripples is available in the Lore menu. Seasonal book entries unlock automatically after their yearly content cycle ends, so the retired quest or radio route is not required to read this chapter today.
