History of Vanguard Ops (triumph)

Overview

Vanguard Ops is a completion triumph for Vanguard Ops. It requires one activity completion and awards no triumph score or separate equipment reward.

How to complete

The original instructions directed players to the Vanguard destination in the Director, launch the Vanguard Ops playlist, and finish the matchmade activity with the fireteam. Stay through the final encounter and activity-completion notification; launching the playlist alone is insufficient.

Activity location

The old Vanguard Ops playlist and Nightfall nodes were deprecated on 9 June 2026. Their activities are now reached through Fireteam Ops on the Destinations screen. The historical Director directions attached to this record refer to the retired playlist layout.
