Vector Extension

Overview

Vector Extension is a Triumph for connecting Vex data streams in Encore, introduced in Episode: Echoes. Completing the hidden plate puzzle awards 10 triumph score and unlocks Choir of One's Command Frame II intrinsic upgrade.

How to complete

1. Activate the secret portals on each run. After the opening jumping section, drop into the purple-lit passage and take the narrow left opening instead of the main route right. In Ancillary Transit, activate the conflux and shoot each large cube indicated by the smaller cube beneath it, then repeat with the cubes by the portals. This completes Nexus Access.
2. Continue to the first Planetary Piston. Activate the nearby conflux, enter its portal on the right and take the left portal in the transit room to return to the opening waterfall area.
3. Activate the conflux by the waterfall. Follow its white data beams to five gold Vex plates mounted around the area. Shoot all five within the 90-second timer; their order does not matter. Facing the waterfall from the conflux, two plates are ahead and three are slightly behind you.
4. Open the resulting chest and claim the triumph. Missing the timer allows another attempt; split the plates between fireteam members to finish comfortably.

Unlocks

This is an intrinsic-upgrade chest, distinct from the Gatekeeping chest used for the first Choir of One catalyst. During the original episodic quest route, a fireteam member needed to complete Specimen ID: NES007 to access these secret confluxes.
