Vestiges of Dread

Vestiges of Dread are a Rare material from Season of the Haunted (Season 17). They are earned from playlist activities, chests, Derelict Leviathan patrols and defeated Nightmares, and several Crown of Sorrow upgrades increase the amount gained. Stacks cap at 2,500, upgradable to 5,000.

Vestiges are spent in Nightmare Containment. After completing Tier III of a Nightmare Containment public event on the Derelict Leviathan, 500 can be spent to bind Nightmares to the Nightmare Harvester, which unlocks extra rewards including Haunted weapons and armor.

The Eidolon Pursuant armor does not give a set-wide bonus. Each piece has an intrinsic perk, Visage of the Reaper, that grants 5% additional Vestiges of Dread from all sources. The bonus stacks per piece with the perk, up to four pieces (20%).
