Veteran

Overview

Veteran is the aggregate record for rank 6 in Guardian Ranks. Complete its six component objectives, then interact with the Ironwood Tree in the Tower to claim the rank. The counter records completed rank requirements rather than six arbitrary combat actions.

Completion

The current rank requirements cover the following progression:

1. Complete an Expert Conquest from the Seasonal Hub. Bring a fireteam and prepare for the activity's modifiers.
2. Finish an activity with a Trade-Off challenge modifier active. Select the modifier when customizing the activity before launching.
3. Earn a Prime Engram. Higher activity reward grades improve the chance of receiving one.
4. Complete Vanguard Arsenal Assignment: Weapons: earn an Arsenal Credit from the Seasonal Hub, then claim a weapon from Commander Zavala's Weekly: Vanguard Arms Rewards the following week.
5. Acquire an Enhancement Prism, available through activity rewards, rewards tracks and Master Rahool's material exchange.
6. Activate three Seasonal Artifact perks.

Claim the individual objectives in the Journey menu before visiting the tree. Additional Loadout slots can unlock through specific rank objectives; the aggregate Veteran record does not award a weapon. Guardian Rank requirements were rebuilt for The Edge of Fate, so older Lightfall walkthroughs use different objectives.
