Vex Transponder

Overview

The Vex Transponder is a quest item from the Black Armory launch, used in the quest to unlock the Izanami Forge on Nessus. It drops randomly from Vex enemies.

Quest steps

1. Charge the transponder with 100 Vex kills. A suggested route is two runs of the Orrery Lost Sector near Artifact's Edge, followed by a few kills outside it.
2. Complete the heroic Spire Integration public event in the Hallows. It is reported to count only when completed in the Sink on Nessus.
3. Kill 20 Vex Minotaurs.
4. Bring the refurbished Izanami Igniter to Ada-1 to unlock a harder version of the Insight Terminus strike. Finishing it opens the Izanami Forge.
