History of Void

Overview

Void is one of Destiny 2's three Light damage types, alongside Arc and Solar. Void subclasses use the power of gravity and space, with abilities that can weaken or suppress enemies, grant overshields, or make Guardians invisible. Void weapons deal Void damage and can interact with shields and combatant mechanics that respond to that element.

Subclasses

Void subclass effects include applying Volatile, weakening or suppressing targets, and granting Devour, Invisibility, or Void Overshields. The available effects depend on the equipped class, Aspects, and Fragments.
