History of Void Cataclysm

Overview

Void Cataclysm is an elemental Vanguard medal for rapidly defeating 15 combatants with Void damage while the activity's Void Surge modifier is active. It awards the medal rather than equipment or Triumph score.

Completion

Choose a medal-enabled activity with Void Surge among its active modifiers. Equipping Void Weapon Surge on armor does not replace this activity modifier. Bring a Void weapon and a Void subclass, then wait for a tightly packed group of weak enemies instead of spreading defeats across separate rooms.

Use a Void grenade or Nova Bomb against the group and finish survivors immediately with your Void weapon. Keep the defeats close together; scattered kills across an entire activity do not satisfy the rapid-defeat requirement. Ask teammates to leave the group for your attempt. Void Frenzy is a separate medal whose description does not require an activity Surge.
