Voltaic Tether

Overview

Voltaic Tether is a Garden of Salvation encounter triumph required for Enlightened. It awards 20 Triumph score. During the opening escape from Consecrated Mind, Sol Inherent, every player who joins a tether must have Voltaic Overflow. This includes the opening gate.

Completion

1. Assemble a raid fireteam with access through Shadowkeep Pack. Start the encounter by shooting the Consecrated Mind itself. Opening the first gate with an ordinary unqualified tether immediately violates the triumph condition.
2. Wait for the boss to drop Voltaic Overflow charges and assign different players to collect them. Build the opening tether only when every participant has the debuff. Keep players without Overflow well away from the box and chain.
3. Clear the route ahead, defeat the Angelic guarding each tether box, and assign currently debuffed players to open each subsequent gate. Call out expiring debuffs before activating a box; an unqualified player joining even briefly can invalidate the attempt.
4. Continue collecting the boss's charges and complete the final escape. Avoid taking a second charge while already carrying Overflow, which can kill the collector.

Changes

Update 8.1.5 changed the intended start to shooting the boss rather than the held Minotaur. Update 9.5.5.3 fixed an issue that prevented Overflow from dropping. Older guides using the Minotaur start predate these changes. This is a permanent encounter triumph, so its condition does not depend on the rotating weekly challenge.
