Overview

Wardcliff Coil Catalyst is the Exotic Catalyst completion triumph for The Wardcliff Coil, an Arc Rocket Launcher. Complete its 400 weapon final blows and insert the catalyst to unlock Pinpoint Guidance Module, improving projectile tracking.

How to complete

1. Obtain the catalyst before starting the defeat objective. Its original acquisition route is a random drop from Strike completions, including Nightfalls. The old playlist nodes were replaced by Fireteam Ops in June 2026.
2. Equip The Wardcliff Coil and defeat 400 enemies with its rockets. Fire into groups from a safe distance; clustered enemies let one volley earn several final blows. Avoid firing into nearby cover because the explosions can kill the wielder.
3. Open the weapon details and apply the completed catalyst in its catalyst socket. The insert counter represents catalyst socket states, rather than a requirement to acquire two different catalysts.

The reward is the weapon's catalyst upgrade, rather than another copy of the weapon.
