Warpgate

Warpgates are gates in the Pyramidion Strike that move the fireteam between sections of the base as they advance. A warpgate was destroyed before the mission, which left some Taken stranded inside.

The strike has three gate passages. The first is a dormant gate past the laser grids, guarded by Vex and Taken, and passing through it moves the team to another part of the base. The next gate activates after a Taken group is fought, and more Taken appear before the team goes through. After a large Taken force is defeated and the confluxes are hacked, the final gate leads to a pit toward the Pyramidion's heart, which in turn delivers the team to the pit that leads to Brakion's terminus.
