History of Whispers of the Past

Overview

Whispers of the Past is a 20-point Exploration triumph in the Pale Heart. Listen to seven patrol-area memories, tracked in groups of four and three. Interact with the small glowing memory circles and allow their dialogue to play.

Memory locations

• Two Crow memories are in the dark passage associated with the end of Temptation: one beside the crystalline Crow and Mara Sov scene, and one beside Lord Saladin's axe.
• One Savathûn memory is beside her crystalline statue in The Refraction, near the patrol entrance to Dual Destiny. Entering the Exotic mission is unnecessary.
• Three Commander Zavala memories lie along the dark traversal route from The Blooming to The Seclusion. Follow the passage through the shattered glass instead of taking the shortcut portal to his house, and interact with each marker along the way.
• The last Commander Zavala memory is at Hakim's grave near the house in The Seclusion. This is easy to miss after taking the portal directly to the house.

The seven overworld memories complete the triumph. The additional Mithrax and Empress Caiatl memories inside Hollow, Part I and Home, Part II are separate. The long-standing progress problem was resolved in 2026; revisit any missed patrol memory rather than collecting those mission-only scenes.
