History of Wild Card (perk)

Overview

Wild Card is an Origin Trait on many weapons, including Eye of Sol, The Messenger, Riptide, and Tomorrow's Answer. Final blows with the weapon have a chance to create experimental submunitions at the target's location. The trait was introduced in Season 22.

Effect

The trait appears on weapons from Cassoid. Ros Arago IV is the usual example: paired with Rewind Rounds and Onslaught, it makes the weapon an effective crowd controller in PvE.

Tips

Wild Card only triggers on final blows, so it rewards clearing enemies quickly rather than sustained damage. Check the weapon's other Origin and perk options when building around it.
