Xenology (triumph)

Overview

Xenology (triumph) is a Destiny 2 triumph introduced in the Season of the Hunt expansion, Destiny 2: Beyond Light. The objective requires the player to acquire and complete the Xenology quest from Xur in the Tower. Completing this quest rewards the player with an Exotic Cipher each week.

How to complete

To progress toward the [[Xenology (triumph)], the player must first obtain the Xenology quest. This is initiated by completing specific activities to gather Exotic armor. Acceptable activities include Vanguard or Exotic playlist activities, as well as winning matches in Crucible or Gambit. Progress is tracked with a counter of x/21. Additional progress is awarded for completing more challenging activities and for succeeding with clanmates.

Once the required Exotic armor is collected, the player must return and speak to Xur to complete the quest. Upon completion, the player receives an Exotic Cipher. Players may hold a maximum of 5 Exotic Ciphers in their inventory.
