Yang Liwei

Yang Liwei (designated Exodus Green) was the lead colony ship of Project Amrita, a Golden Age mission to find and settle a habitable planet away from the Traveler's influence. It was captained by Alice Li and carried a crew of 900, including Mara Sov, Uldren Sov and Osana Sov, along with 40,000 colonists in suspended animation.

Overview

During the Collapse, Rasputin tried to conscript the ship, but a Pyramid intercepted and trapped it. Captain Li broadcast a declaration of neutrality. The Traveler then sent a beam of Light against the Darkness, and the two paracausal forces' energy formed a kugelblitz that swallowed the ship.

Inside the kugelblitz the ship appeared intact in the Distributary, planted shield-first in bedrock. Its crew and colonists were sublimated and reincarnated as Awoken, who mostly had forgotten their history. They named the tower the Shipspire, and its technology became the foundation of Awoken society. Nine crew members remain unaccounted for.

The ship was first mentioned in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Its armaments were described in Cosmogyre I.
