(Heroic) Cliffhanger

Overview

(Heroic) Cliffhanger is the Heroic Adventure variant of the Adventure Cliffhanger in Echo Mesa. Heroic Adventures were Explore-type activities launched from the orange Adventure marker on the Flashpoint planet of the week, using the Heroic tag on the director map. The Heroic version is the same mission as the base Adventure with harder enemies. Like all Adventures, it was moved into the Destiny Content Vault with Destiny 2: Beyond Light and is no longer playable.

Heroic Adventures could only be completed a limited number of times per week (twice a week on Mercury) instead of once per day; the weekly Flashpoint challenge counted a completion.

Location: Lost Oasis. Speak to Asher Mir after "Fury". Base Adventure recommended power is 130; it follows "Unexpected Guests" and precedes "Road Rage".

Encounters and mechanics

1. Fight Vex (Goblins, Hobgoblins, Fanatics, Minotaurs, Cyclopses, Harpies) across escalating waves.
2. Use Vex cannons to jump between platforms and hold off enemies spawning while connected to the Vex network.
3. Defeat the Hydra boss Tekton, Constructive Mind.

Rewards

Mindbreaker Boots (rare armor, Titan/Hunter/Warlock variants) from the base Adventure. Heroic Adventures also fed the Flashpoint weekly progress.
