Acceleron: Siphon

Overview

Acceleron: Siphon is a story encounter on Kepler added with The Edge of Fate. Disrupt the Vex assimilation of Kepler's geology and uncover the Acceleron they draw power from.

It is launched from the matching Strangelet quest step in the Kepler campaign (no separate power-level requirement was confirmed by the sources used; scale to the The Edge of Fate campaign). Using the Acceleron afterwards opens the next mission in the chain.

Encounters

Per Destiny2Zone, this is one of two Acceleron encounters in The Gorge Strangelet quest (with Acceleron: Surveillance). Unlock the upgraded Matterspark ability and defeat the Minotaur boss "Meridi and Didyo, The Assimilating Minds". The Acceleron unlocks the mission "Disruption".

Rewards

The Acceleron; completing the Gorge quest ends with the final Quarantine mission and a Strangelet Capsule.
