Arena: Breach Executable (Expert)

Overview

The matchmade Expert version of Arena: Breach Executable, run by fireteams through Arcadian Valley on Nessus from the H.E.L.M.. Recommended power is about 2005. Expert uses fixed encounters, Champions and Overcharge modifiers.

Encounters and mechanics

Players kill enemies to collect data motes (up to 10 at a time) and deposit them at marked pylons, then complete rotating tasks such as capturing points on Vex milk pools (Install Analytic Sequencer) or using a Minotaur's weapon to destroy floating nodes (Redirect Vex Signal). A hidden Planetary Assimilation Piston side objective between encounters grants bonus loot, and Crimson Radiolaria can be collected for extra seasonal rewards. The final boss is randomly one of six: Aulete, Kitharodes or Rhapsoidos (Choral Minds), Polysis (Nessian Gatelord), Tym (Guardian Slayer) or Vire (Shard of Contempt). Bosses are highly resistant to non-precision damage, so precision and linear-fusion weapons are recommended.

Rewards

Expert is considered good for fast progression because it spawns two chests at the end. Otherwise rewards match the Standard activity; see Arena: Breach Executable.
