Vex Mind

Overview

A Vex Mind (also called an Axis Mind) is a powerful Vex unit that controls large numbers of other Vex. Each mind is a distribution of the Vex collective mind and pursues a specific goal. Vex Minds most often take the form of Minotaurs or Hydras, but Hobgoblins, Harpies, Cyclopses and Wyverns can fill the same role.

Collectives

Named Vex Minds belong to several collectives, including the Sol Collective, Sol Divisive, Hezen Corrective, Virgo Prohibition, Precursors, Descendants and Nessian Schism. Examples include Protheon, the Modular Mind, Panoptes and the Infinite Mind.

Appearances

Vex Minds first appeared in Destiny in The Dark Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King. In Destiny 2 they appear in Curse of Osiris, Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, Lightfall and Episode: Echoes, among other seasons.
