History of Bushido Cowl

Overview

Bushido Cowl is the helmet (Helmet) piece of the Bushido Armor set for Warlocks. Its flavor text reads "Distraction is the deadliest enemy."

The Bushido set has a two-piece bonus, Iaido, where final blows with freshly drawn or reloaded weapons heal you, and a four-piece bonus, Unfaltering Focus, where bow, shotgun or sword final blows temporarily reduce incoming damage and damaging targets with those weapons extends the effect.

Acquisition

Bushido pieces are focused from Zavala at the Tower under Focused Decoding, on the Armor page of his offerings. Each piece costs 1 Vanguard Engram, 3 Vanguard Ciphers and 15,000 Glimmer. Vanguard Ciphers are the bottleneck; a June 2026 guide reports that Arena Ops dropped them most often, and the cost may change. The game data also lists Contest of Elders, Heliostat, Presage and The Coil as sources. The pieces cannot be reacquired from Collections.
