History of Death's Razor (triumph)

Overview

The Death's Razor (triumph) is a triumph in Destiny 2 that tracks the completion of Deepsight Resonance extractions for the Death's Razor weapon. Completing these extractions unlocks the weapon's Pattern, allowing players to craft the sword. The triumph requires five pattern progress steps to complete.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, players must acquire the Death's Razor, a Legendary Solar Sword. The weapon was originally obtainable from the heroic version of the Menagerie during Season of Opulence. It was later reissued with a Deepsight pattern during Season of Defiance.

Once the weapon is in the player's inventory, they must activate its Deepsight Resonance property. This is done by using the weapon in a Deepsight Resonance activity, such as a Strike, Crucible match, or Gambit match. Each successful extraction contributes one step toward the Pattern. After five extractions, the weapon's pattern is fully unlocked, and the triumph is completed.

The weapon's description reads: "An Earth artifact, refashioned to suit the Emperor's modest tastes." Originally, the sword was restricted to Warlocks, but Episode: Heresy removed class-based weapon restrictions, allowing all classes to wield it.
