Menagerie

The Menagerie was a six-player arena activity introduced in Season of Opulence, set aboard the Leviathan. It was vaulted with Beyond Light.

Overview

Players unlocked it with the Chalice of Opulence. Emperor Calus escalates difficulty when teams perform well. The normal version had longer respawns but no Darkness zones; heroic had Darkness zones with orbit wipes. Recommended Power was 690 (normal) and 750 (heroic).

Seven encounter types rotate (Lamplighting, Arkborn, Mockery, Crystals, Gauntlet, Hunted, Riposte), ending with one of three bosses: Hasapiko, Arunak or Pagouri.

Rewards

Opulent armor sets and weapons such as the Austringer hand cannon and Beloved sniper rifle; triumphs gave the Shadow of Earth ghost shell and Arma Makhes sparrow.
