Devouring Rift

Devouring Rift is the intrinsic perk on Secant Filaments, an exotic leg armor piece. Casting an empowering Rift while a Void Super is equipped grants Devour. Damage dealt by you and your allies from inside the Rift disrupts enemies.

Bungie previewed class-ability energy on final blows while Devour is active on January 23, 2025. The change shipped in Update 8.2.0 on February 4, 2025. Update 9.1.0 later fixed a bug that could prevent the perk from granting Devour while Facet of Protection was equipped.
