History of Devouring Rift

Devouring Rift is the intrinsic perk on Secant Filaments. Casting an empowering Rift with a Void Super equipped grants Devour; damage dealt by you and allies from within the Rift disrupts combatants.
Bungie previewed class-ability energy on final blows while Devour is active on January 23, 2025; the change shipped in Update 8.2.0 on February 4, 2025. Update 9.1.0 later fixed a bug that could prevent the perk from granting Devour while Facet of Protection was equipped.
