Dire Thrall

A Dire Thrall is a variant of the Taken Thrall with more offensive capabilities. It is a minor-rank unit of the Dire Taken, armed with Solar claws. Like other Thralls it swarms toward its target, teleporting over other Thralls, which makes it harder to hit from range.

Death drop

When a Dire Thrall is killed, it leaves a Defensive Ward behind that keeps enemies at a distance.

Variants and origin

The Essentia Coalescent and the Ravenous Dire Thrall are variants. The Dire Thrall first appeared in Destiny in Episode: Heresy.
