Dracus

Commander Dracus is the Cabal commander and boss of the Behemoth Battleground on Nessus. The battleground counters the Cabal's expansion on Nessus, and the objective is to defeat Dracus outside the Imperial Land Tank.

Boss fight

Dracus is a Legionary who wields a shotgun that can one-shot players, so it is best to keep mid to long range. Activating the podium spawns Dracus and waves of adds, and players use the rocks for cover while avoiding drop pod impacts. At one-third health he becomes immune and retreats up the hill to the land tank, and defeating a Barrier Champion and an Unstoppable Champion removes the immunity. At half health he raises a dome shield, and players must destroy the generator inside it while watching for adds behind them. For the final third he retreats to the land tank's entrance, where two more Champions spawn when he becomes immune again. Supers and heavy weapons finish him once his last shield is down.

Access

Behemoth was introduced in Season of the Chosen as part of the Battlegrounds playlist. After The Witch Queen removed the Season of the Chosen content, it returned only as a randomly chosen Strike in the Vanguard Ops playlist, and it can no longer be launched directly from the Director.
