Dreambane Cloak

Overview

Dreambane Cloak is a Legendary Hunter cloak (class item) piece for the Hunter class, part of the Dreambane armor set from The Moon. Community set data lists a 2-piece bonus (final blows on challenging or higher combatants grant Unstable Essence, boosting grenade and melee stats) and a 4-piece bonus (while holding Unstable Essence, rapid weapon damage or final blows heal you and start health regeneration). Four of five pieces unlock the full bonus.

Acquisition

This piece is tied to the Essence of Despair quest, one of the Dreambane armor Essences (Pride, Isolation, Fear, Anguish, Despair) bought at the Lectern of Enchantment with Phantasmal Cores; per community guides the Essences do not expire. Higher-stat Dreambane armor drops from the Pit of Heresy dungeon, a weekly drop once per character. Bungie lists the source as "Exploring the Moon". Moon gear is reissued, so details may change by season.

Set

Part of the Dreambane set alongside the other pieces: Dreambane Cowl, Dreambane Gauntlets, Dreambane Gloves, Dreambane Greaves, Dreambane Boots, Dreambane Bond and Dreambane Cloak, split across Hunter, Warlock and Titan.
