Eccaleist

The Eccaleists were an Awoken movement founded under the influence of Mara Sov. They held that the Awoken were "born from conflict" and that this conflict would one day need resolving, in contrast to their rivals, the Sanguine, who believed they were created by a gift and owed nothing.

Overview

The movement was led in public by Nguya Pin, a former Queen of the Awoken in the Distributary, while Mara Sov acted as its driving influence. The clash between the Eccaleists and the Sanguine led to the Theodicy War.

Location

The movement is tied to the Awoken Distributary in the Marasenna lore.
