Nguya Pin

Overview

Nguya Pin was a Queen of the Awoken at Distributary and a prominent Eccaleist. Her reign is shown in the Forsaken Marasenna lore.

Location

Her court was at Distributary, where the Queen's authority had shrunk to spiritual and artistic affairs as the Gensym Scribes gained influence.

Story

Pin took the throne after Alis Li stepped down following the Theodicy War. Mara Sov visited her court on a summer solstice and persuaded her to become an Eccaleist. Working under Mara's guidance, Pin took power from the Scribes and built her court into a center of research for the Awoken's space program.

Years later, as a rocket carrying an observatory satellite launched, Pin declared her work done and said she could no longer work with Mara. She realized Mara had been manipulating court events to weaken the Scribes and keep the Awoken divided, and she abdicated. Mara chose Devna Tel as her successor.
