Endless Steps

Overview

The Endless Steps is a Vex area in the Ishtar Sink on Venus. It is where the Gate Lord Zydron waits, and it is the site of the Eye of a Gate Lord mission.

Location

Exit Campus 9 through the narrow pathway to reach the Endless Steps. A stream leads up the stairway to Zydron.

Eye of a Gate Lord

Zydron can't teleport. Its body parts start separated and reassemble during the fight, and it has a weak spot in its midsection. After it falls, the Warp Gate it used is destroyed, Guardians are taken to The Reef, and Mars is unlocked.

Guardians must bring Zydron's head to Mara Sov, who uses it to wake the Eye needed to enter the Black Garden.
