History of Expert Conquest: Moon

Overview

Expert Conquest: Moon is the Expert-difficulty seasonal Conquest built on the Heist Battleground: Moon mission on The Moon. You infiltrate the Seraph Bunker to reclaim fragments of the submind Malahayati's code (see Season of the Seraph). Its sibling is Expert Conquest: Sunless Cell.

How to launch

Conquests are score-based PvE challenges launched from The Portal > Seasonal Hub > Conquests tab. Fireteam Power is disabled, so everyone needs the required power and must equip new gear (as of Destiny 2: Renegades, Exotics count as new gear). Only one full reward per character per season.

Encounters

The underlying mission has Hive and Scorn enemies, with the bosses Warmonger Knight, Demented Abomination and Once-Phyris. Players report Expert is tough, with the Galvanized modifier making enemies tanky; I could not confirm modifiers myself.

Rewards

Expert grants a one-time Tier 3 reward; Master yields Tier 4, Grandmaster Tier 5.
