Fantis, Oppressive Mind

Fantis, Oppressive Mind is a Vex Minotaur and the final boss of the Expunge: Labyrinth mission, first seen in Season of the Splicer. It governed the Labyrinth domain and kept the Endless Night running through its subroutines. Quria, Blade Transform brought it back after the Guardian destroyed it. In the Corrupted version of the mission it returns as Fantis, Oppressive Mind Reborn and can summon Taken as well as Vex.

After light damage, Fantis raises an immunity shield. Two Nexus Guardians spawn, and the player must kill them, collect their Data Spikes and deposit them in the terminals outside the arena to drop the shield. Once the shield is down, Fantis stops summoning shields and fights like a regular Ultra Minotaur until destroyed.
