Expunge

Overview

Expunge was a set of story missions from Season of the Splicer. They follow the Guardian and Mithrax as they move through the Vex network and uncover what sustains the Endless Night. Four missions exist, three with harder Corrupted versions, unlocked weekly through seasonal quests.

Gameplay

Each mission starts with traversing shifting Vex architecture while avoiding a deadly firewall that kills on contact; the Wirewalker upgrade unlocks shortcuts. Labyrinth is a platforming puzzle ending in a fight with Fantis, Oppressive Mind. The final mission, Delphi, has no Corrupted version. Corrupted versions use stronger enemies, more Champions and mostly Taken replacing standard foes.

Expunge became unavailable when Destiny 2: The Witch Queen released.
