Grandmaster: Warden of Nothing

Overview

Grandmaster: Warden of Nothing is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It is earned by completing the Warden of Nothing Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty. It counts toward the Conqueror seal.

The Warden of Nothing strike is a Cabal and Vex strike with Barrier, Overload and Unstoppable Champions. The Season 19 Grandmaster rotation listed it for February 21 to 28 in Season of the Seraph.

How to complete

1. Queue the Warden of Nothing Grandmaster Nightfall when it is in the rotation.
2. Bring Anti-Barrier, Overload and Unstoppable Champion mods. Champions are the main threat, so cover all three types.
3. Prison entrance: kill the Vex Goblins from range, since they release Arc pools when defeated. Kill the Overload Champion guarding the entrance.
4. Tunnels: activate the console to start the trains. Stand on the platforms beside the tracks when a train approaches. Kill the Vex Hydra mini-boss, then the Unstoppable Champion, then the isolated Barrier Champion.
5. Exit area: use Anti-Barrier weapons on the Hobgoblins. Kill the Hydra and Goblins first, then the two Barrier Champions from range. Clearing the adds spawns a named Minotaur. Burst it down with Supers and heavy ammo.
6. Arena: prioritise the snipers, then the two Unstoppable Champions. Split the team to defuse the bombs, with a defensive Super covering one bomb.
7. Mine challenge: defuse all the mines to finish the encounter. Defusing all of them makes the enemies disappear and loses the Platinum reward.
8. Boss room: reach it through the fake treasure chest below the Arena, which activates an elevator. Clear the four Champions, then burst the Warden early with Supers and heavy ammo.
9. If the boss survives, it scorches the room. Take cover immediately and move from cover to cover until it dies.

Tips

• Burst the Warden early if you can, and stay in cover during its room-wide attack.
• Named enemies, a Void-shielded Minotaur and a Solar-shielded Centurion, will follow you. Ignore them when you can and keep shooting the boss.
