History of Heavy Does It

Overview

Heavy Does It is the Grand Overture catalyst quest from Banshee-44 in the Tower, from Season 16 (The Witch Queen). You need to own the Grand Overture Exotic Machine Gun first. Expect a few hours.

Walkthrough

1. Defeat 50 Cabal, 50 targets with Power weapons, and 15 targets rapidly.
2. Calibrate (200) and defeat 450 targets with Grand Overture through Vanguard Ops, Gambit and Crucible; Nightfall completions and wins give bonus progress. Older articles quoted different totals (e.g. 100 kills), so trust the current in-game numbers.
3. Return to Banshee-44.

Rewards

• Grand Overture Catalyst: missile explosions blind combatants, and those defeated by missiles explode.

Trivia

• Banshee: "Cabal tech is twice as thick as it needs to be, and three times as heavy."
