Hive runes

Hive runes are glowing symbols that float around the central pool of the Altars of Summoning activity. Each rune is activated by invoking Hive Magic beneath it.

Ritual of Induction

The Ritual of Induction primes the altars. The first player to invoke Hive Magic under a rune starts a 15-second timer, after which the ritual completes. If all players stand under the three runes that differ from the others, the fireteam receives the Lucent Blessing, which restores some Special and Heavy ammo after each encounter.

Hive Magic

During encounters, players invoke Hive Magic with the Acolyte's Staff to break shields and shatter crystals.
