Overview

Hotspot is a Triumph that requires the completion of public events and patrols within the Vex Incursion Zone in Neomuna. Completing heroic public events and gold patrols grants additional progress toward the triumph.

How to complete

Travel to the Vex Incursion Zone located in Neomuna. Engage in and complete public events and patrols within this area. To maximize progress, prioritize heroic public events and gold patrols, as these activities provide additional advancement toward the triumph completion.

The zone is part of the Neomuna quest line: the Maelstrom quest asks players to take part in public events and patrols inside it, and the weekly Vex Incursion bounty from Nimbus unlocks the Partition mission. The Maelstrom quest also says that heroic public events earn the most progress.

Neomuna has three public events. Heroic versions have a hidden trigger that must be activated within a limited window, and usually spawn a special boss and bigger rewards.

• Cabal Excavation: Capture 32% of the drill, then destroy the Cabal Thresher. Destroying it triggers the heroic variant, which spawns a Cabal boss.
• Vex Spire Integration: Capture three Vex plates and defend the spire until time runs out. The heroic version spawns a Vex Hydra and two Vex Cyclops, and the event fails if ten Vex sacrifice.
• Supernumerary Blitz: Defeat six Minotaurs Supernumeros within 10 minutes using Arc Craniums. It is rare and appears only in the weekly Vex Incursion Zone, and completing it guarantees an exotic.

For patrols, Kill and Collect patrols are the easiest to complete.
