Locus of Communion

The Locus of Communion is the final boss of the Presage Exotic mission, set in an abandoned Cabal ship near the Tangled Shore. It is a Scorn Ravager, formerly known as Akriis. Defeating it grants the Dead Man's Tale Scout Rifle, the mission's Exotic reward.

The fight takes place in a furnace on a lower floor that is heated by boilers. Three consoles must be activated to cool the room before the Locus can be damaged. Each damage window ends when the Locus drops to about a third of its health, which reheats the floor and requires the cooling to be repeated. Reinforcements, including Scorn Chieftains, join during the fight, and the cycle repeats until the Locus is defeated.
