Marasenna

Overview

Marasenna is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires completing the Lore Book of the same name. It is a Forsaken lore book about the origins of the Awoken and the rise of Mara Sov. The entries follow the voyage of the Yang Liwei, the founding of the Awoken's world, which the council names the Distributary, and Mara's eventual departure through a singularity.

Story

The book has 27 numbered entries. Their voices vary:

• Brephos and Cosmogyre are mostly third-person scenes that follow Mara, Uldren Sov, Osana and Captain Alice Li aboard the ship.
• Ecstasiate III is a chronicle of the Awoken's first census on the new world. The council names the world the Distributary, forbids it from rejoining its source, and crowns Alis Li as queen.
• Katabasis is a speech by Mara to the Awoken.
• Nigh is a dialogue between Mara and Alis Li.
• Palingenesis II is written in Mara's first-person voice.

How to complete

1. Go to the Dreaming City and collect Ahamkara bones.
2. Break Corrupted Eggs with Wish-Ender, also in the Dreaming City.
3. Each bone or egg unlocks one lore entry. Read them in order to follow the story.
