Mirror Portal

Overview

Mirror Portals are mystic mirrors in Kell's Fall that transport Guardians between the material plane and the Revenant Plane, a dimensional reflection of the fortress created by the Echo. Archways with cracks in their centers also work as crossings, and shooting the cracks lets you pass through.

Vestibule timer

Entering the Revenant Plane grants the Refracting buff, which lasts 2 minutes 10 seconds. When it expires you receive the Shattering debuff, which damages you and eventually kills you if you stay. To refresh the buff, leave the Revenant Plane before it runs out and re-enter. During the Hiraks, the Mindbender fight, once Hiraks drops to a third of his health and retreats to the Revenant Plane, you cannot return to the material plane, so he must be killed before the timer expires.

Fikrul's fight

In the Diffraction variant, Fikrul prevents players from leaving the Revenant Plane, so the only way to stun him is to shoot the archway while he casts his wipe attack. Collecting ten stacks of Revenant Essence grants Revenant Empowerment, which is required to damage Pit Enforcers.

Rewards

First completion of the mission rewards Slayer's Fang, an Exotic Void Shotgun, with a guaranteed Deepsight Resonance. Completing it unlocks the Revenant Slayer quests from Eido, which provide its catalysts.
