History of Nightfall: The Ordeal

Overview

Nightfall: The Ordeal was the name of the weekly Nightfall strike playlist, offering one featured strike (the data lists Nightfall: Strange Terrain and Nightfall: A Garden World) across Adept, Hero, Legend, Master and Nightfall Grandmaster tiers. Higher tiers add modifiers and Champions; scoring and Platinum rewards are described on Nightfall.

Rewards

Nightfall weapons; Adept versions only from Grandmaster, per Game Rant's Season of the Chosen guide.

Status

Destinypedia says Grandmaster Nightfalls were removed in The Edge of Fate. Exact retirement date for the Ordeal name is not stated in the sources I opened.
