Obelisk

In Vow of the Disciple, obelisks are tall prisms with nine windows, each showing one glyph. In the Acquisition encounter the fireteam must work out which three symbols on each obelisk to shoot while defending them from Scorn; shooting wrong glyphs speeds up failure, and an obelisk that fills with orange energy wipes the team. Guides recommend three teams of two, one pair per obelisk. The word also names unrelated structures elsewhere in Destiny (for example, the Obelisks of the Black Garden), which this page does not cover.
