Overview

Of Queens And Worms is a Triumph earned by completing the exotic quest Of Queens and Worms. It is worth 5 score. The quest is given by Ikora after you finish the Witch Queen campaign.

How to complete

1. Speak with Mara Sov in the Enclave.
2. Complete the Birthplace of the Vile strike, launched from the Savathun's Throne World map.
3. Return to Fynch and talk to him.
4. Collect a Cryptoglyph rune from the Temple of the Cunning.
5. Kill 100 Scorn in the Throne World. Staying near Fynch is convenient.
6. Clear the Sepulcher Lost Sector in the Florescent Canal. Use Deepsight at the end to reveal the larvae incubator, then place the worm.
7. Complete three Patrol missions in the Florescent Canal.
8. Collect a second Cryptoglyph rune from the Queen's Bailey.
9. Clear the Metamorphosis Lost Sector in the Miasma area. Use Deepsight at the end to reach its incubator.
10. At the Alluring Curtain, use the nearby Deepsight to reveal platforms. Shoot the three lamps to make a chest appear.
11. Clear the Extraction Lost Sector in the Quagmire area. Use Deepsight near the Hive statue to reveal the path to the final incubator.
12. Talk to Fynch to receive the Hive Casing. It takes a Power weapon slot, so clear one first.
13. Complete the Parasitic Pilgrimage mission. Carry the worm through 16 Hive energy pools before it explodes, deliver it to Mara at the top of the Temple of the Wrathful, and defend her while she finishes the process.

Rewards

Parasite is an Exotic Grenade Launcher. Its second perk, Worm's Hunger, fires Hive worms that explode on impact. The explosion's size and damage scale with recent kills.

Tips

• Keep moving during the energy pool run. Fight only as much as needed to make room.
• For pools blocked by moving Hive obstacles, jump in and out of the puddle instead of running through it.
• Kills do not need to be consecutive. Switch to Parasite after getting kills, and switch back and forth to check for the full 20 stacks.
• At a full stack the initial explosion can kill you, so fire the big grenade and let the splash damage from later shots hit you.
